Delaware Cosmetology License

The process for getting a license in cosmetology or nail technology in the state of Delaware, all students must fulfill the requirements listed below. When obtaining a Delaware cosmetology license, there is no wrong way to do things as long as you have completed your courses at a Delaware cosmetology school.

As stated by the Delaware (DE) State Board of Cosmetology, to obtain a DE cosmetology license, one must have attended a Delaware cosmetology school or when moving into the state, the DE Board of Cosmetology, requires you to satisfy their guidelines. After completing your training, you will be required to pass a licensing exam issue by the Delaware (DE) State Board of Cosmetology. After successfully passing the exam, you will receive your Delaware cosmetology license. You are now permitted to work in the state of Delaware.

DE State Board of Cosmetology Requirements
COSMETOLOGIST: 1500 hours, apprenticeship 3000 hours
NAIL TECHNOLOGIST: 125 hours, apprenticeship 250 hours.
ESTHETICS: 300 Hours, apprenticeship 600 Hours.
